IELTS in Saudi Arabia 2026: Fees, Test Dates, and Registration

The British Council Saudi Arabia dates-and-fees page directs you to booking for the current amount. A Riyadh quote does not establish the price at every Saudi test centre; confirm the final fee for your selected city, provider and format.

British Council lists IELTS test locations across Saudi Arabia including Al-Hassa, Buraydah, Dammam, Hail, Jeddah, Jubail, Madinah, Makkah, Riyadh, Tabuk and Taif, among others, with computer-delivered testing concentrated in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

For Riyadh, use the IDP Riyadh session list. For Jeddah, Dammam or another city, use the IDP Saudi Arabia date finder or British Council's location selector. Filter by your required test type and format, then check the session's fee and Speaking appointment. A listed city does not guarantee a seat on your preferred day.

Begin with an official British Council or IDP Saudi Arabia page. Choose the correct test, city and session; enter your personal details exactly as they appear on the identification document you will use; then check the test type, venue, date and total fee before payment.

After paying, keep the confirmation email and reference number. Check the full message rather than assuming the main test date covers every appointment, because your Speaking slot can have its own time.

Academic and General Training serve different purposes. A university course usually asks for Academic, while some migration, work or training routes may use General Training. One Skill Retake can let an eligible computer-test candidate repeat Listening, Reading, Writing or Speaking once instead of retaking the full exam, at a centre that offers the service and within 60 days of the original test.
