US Federal Trade Commission (FTC)This short alert is not a complete statement of federal or state law.
1. Agreement and scope
These terms form the user agreement between you and Ömer Doğan (Nektar) for the Nektar website and educational app. By creating an account or continuing after the terms are shown, you agree to them.
The Privacy Policy and Data Processing Notice explain data use and are not consent forms. Store purchase and licence terms also apply to relevant transactions.
2. Eligibility and younger users
Provide accurate age and account information. If the law where you live requires parental authorisation, use Nektar only after the required process is actually completed. A child cannot create valid adult permission by ticking a statement. Nektar may restrict a feature or request proportionate age or guardian verification where required.
3. Educational and AI service
Nektar provides exam practice, articles, score tools, progress and community features, and AI-generated explanations. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated or biased. Check important information against official exam materials and qualified sources.
Nektar does not promise a score, admission, certificate, learning outcome or uninterrupted availability. Educational content is not professional legal, medical or financial advice.
4. Your content and Scanner use
You retain rights in content you submit. You give Nektar only the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit and protect it to provide the feature you select.
- Do not upload faces, identity documents, health data, confidential information or another person’s personal data.
- Do not upload copyrighted exam books or private material you are not allowed to reproduce.
- Scanner files may be stored in your history and sent to AI infrastructure for analysis.
5. Safe and fair use
Do not harass or impersonate others, publish private information, cheat, spam, act unlawfully, attack security, evade limits, extract service data or content without permission, or reverse engineer where prohibited. Content may be removed or an account limited to protect users and the service, subject to mandatory appeal and consumer rules.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play under the price, trial period, tax, renewal and refund information shown before purchase. Unless the store says otherwise, a subscription may renew automatically. Manage or cancel renewal in your store subscription settings.
Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and does not automatically refund a used period. Mandatory cancellation, refund and consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Licence and intellectual property
Nektar grants you a limited, revocable and non-transferable licence for the service’s intended personal educational use. Nektar software, branding and original content remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Store platform licence terms also apply.
8. Availability, responsibility and closure
We work to keep the service safe and useful, but uninterrupted availability and AI accuracy are not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nektar is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or were caused by events outside reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop using Nektar and delete your account. Nektar may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach, security risk or legal duty, with notice where reasonably possible.
9. Law and changes
Turkish law applies without taking away mandatory consumer and privacy protections where you live. Disputes may also be brought before an authority or court competent under mandatory local law.
These terms may be updated for legal, security or service changes. Material changes will be communicated appropriately and will not apply retroactively where prohibited.
