Important note for your region
United States: COPPA warning
Before collecting from a child under 13, COPPA can require direct parental notice and verifiable parental consent. Parents should be able to review, delete and stop further use.
US Federal Trade Commission (FTC)This short alert is not a complete statement of federal or state law.
You can review and change your current analytics and marketing choices at any time.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Nektar also uses browser storage such as localStorage and sessionStorage. These technologies can remember choices, support security, measure use and, with permission, support advertising.
2. Necessary storage
Necessary technology keeps the site and your privacy choice working. It is not used for behavioural measurement or advertising.
- nk_lang and nk_region remember language and region for about one year.
- nektar_cookie_consent_v2 keeps your necessary, analytics and marketing choice until you change it or clear browser storage.
- nektar_udsp_camp_downloaded remembers downloaded UDSP camp tests on your device so the progress feature can work.
- Admin session and security cookies are used only to protect authorised administration functions.
3. Analytics — off by default
Without analytics permission, these tools do not load, persistent visitor/session identifiers are not created, and campaign parameters are not added to store links.
- Nektar site analytics stores a random visitor ID in localStorage and a session ID in sessionStorage, and measures pathnames, section views, duration, screen and interaction data.
- Nektar attribution stores allowlisted utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content values and the query-free external referrer path in localStorage and a first-party cookie for about 90 days. utm_term is not collected; values resembling an email, URL, phone number or token are rejected.
- Google Analytics may use identifiers such as _ga for visit and event measurement; provider duration can vary with Google settings.
4. Marketing — off by default
These providers may receive device, network and interaction information under their own policies. Meta Pixel and AdSense scripts do not load before marketing permission.
For EEA, UK and Swiss traffic, Nektar does not load the AdSense script until Google’s certified TCF consent-platform requirement is implemented.
- Meta Pixel may use identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc to measure advertising campaigns.
- Google AdSense may use _gcl, __gads, __gpi or similar identifiers to deliver or measure ads.
5. Changing your choice
On the first visit you can accept all, reject optional tools or choose by category. Cookie settings in the footer reopens the panel. When you turn a category off, Nektar clears the related first-party values it can access and reloads the page to stop scripts.
You can also clear all storage in your browser. Some values set on a third party’s domain can only be removed through that provider’s or the browser’s controls.
6. Regional advertising consent
Some countries require an additional certified consent platform, industry signal or age restriction for advertising. Nektar should not enable personalised advertising until the required regional mechanism is in place. The site choice does not replace a mandatory local mechanism.
