Method: your Digital SAT correct-answer totals are proportionally mapped to College Board's official SAT Practice Test 8 paper score ranges. The real Digital SAT uses adaptive modules and item response theory, so raw correct answers cannot reproduce an exact official score.
How this Digital SAT score estimator works
Enter the total correct answers from both modules: up to 54 for Reading and Writing and 44 for Math. The estimator normalizes those totals against the score ranges in College Board's official SAT Practice Test 8 paper scoring guide.
The result is deliberately a range. College Board explains that Digital SAT scores depend on question characteristics, difficulty and the answer pattern—not only the number correct. That makes a single raw-score conversion misleading.

Why your result is a range, not a promise
Each section has two modules. Your first-module performance influences the mix of questions in module 2, but the final section score uses your work across both modules.
The official model uses item response theory. Two students can answer the same number correctly and still receive different scores because the questions they answered were not identical in difficulty or scoring characteristics.
Use this SAT score predictor for goal setting and practice-test review. Use Bluebook or your official College Board report when you need an authoritative score.
Digital SAT score calculator FAQ
How is the Digital SAT scored?
The total score runs from 400 to 1600. Reading and Writing and Math are each scored from 200 to 800, and the two section scores are added together.
Can correct answers predict an exact Digital SAT score?
No. The Digital SAT is adaptive, and College Board uses item response theory. Question difficulty and the pattern of answers matter, so two students with the same number correct can receive different section scores.
Does the harder second module guarantee a higher score?
No. College Board states that a range of section scores is possible through either second-module route. Your performance across both modules determines the section result.
How many questions are on the Digital SAT?
The current Digital SAT has 54 Reading and Writing questions and 44 Math questions. The testing time is 64 minutes for Reading and Writing and 70 minutes for Math.
Should I leave a question blank if I am unsure?
College Board says it is generally better to guess than leave a question blank, especially after eliminating one or two answer choices.
