Mathematics: analysis and approaches
Mathematics
For IB educators, schools and content partners
Nektar already helps learners practise English and exam subjects in a structured mobile app. We’re bringing that approach to IB: focused questions, clear mark schemes and space for students to reflect, alongside the teaching and discussion that happen in class.
IB practice is in development; educator previews are available by arrangement.
A learning experience taking shape
Select a subject, then choose SL or HL where available.
Practise with topic-based multiple-choice and structured questions.
Review a mark scheme and assess your response.
An example of the intended study flow.
Teachers remain central to learning. Structured practice can give students another way to work through a topic between lessons, compare their thinking with a mark scheme and bring clearer questions back to class.
Initial subject focus
We’re starting with these subjects and inviting educators to help shape useful practice. This initial focus does not cover the full Diploma Programme.
For educators: a preview conversation is a chance to share where students need more opportunities to practise.

Question experience
Students can choose subjects and SL/HL levels, navigate topics, answer multiple-choice and structured questions, review mark schemes and self-assess. Maths questions support notation, charts and tables.
English B
Our English B work also includes guides for students and educators.

The teacher review workspace keeps drafts distinct from reviewed practice sets. Subject specialists can look at each question, answer and mark scheme together, then suggest changes before a set is ready to use.

Share specific edits and guidance before a set is ready.
Bring reviewed material together for a focused learning experience.
Possible ways to work together
We’re open to practical collaborations with IB educators, schools, subject specialists and organisations with relevant content expertise. Each opportunity would be scoped together.
Review sample questions, mark schemes or the learning experience, then share subject-specific feedback.
Co-develop or review a defined set of practice materials with roles, review standards and attribution agreed together.
Discuss permission to use relevant content or educator-created resources, with rights and terms agreed together.
Explore a limited cohort, subject scope, timeline and feedback plan once the use case is ready.
For any collaboration, we’ll agree the subject scope, content rights, responsibilities, timeline and terms together.
A first conversation
Tell us about your role, subject expertise or organisation, and the kind of collaboration you have in mind. We can discuss review, content work, licensing or a scoped pilot.
